We drove up the road to find a more quiet place to spend the late morning and early afternoon. We decided on a spot on the Baker Trail River. Scott was able to fish.

He did some fly fishing, but no luck.

The river was cold! But it was so hot out I didn't care! I went in several times. It is the prettiest color of turquoise, as most glacier water is.

I hung out when not in the water, with my feet in the sand and my nose in a book.
