Trip to Cancun and Tulum Mexico

The hubby and I had a great trip to Cancun! We had not been to Cancun before... previous trips to Mexico were to Cabo and Puerto Vallarta.
We had a red eye flight so we were ready for some relaxation in paradise!
Out hotel was fabulous! We went all inclusive which we had not done before either. Not sure we would do it again, but it was nice for this trip and now we can say we have tried it!

We walked several miles to the flea market and the outdoor mall! It was a little warm... so we haled a taxi for the ride back!
The hotel district via the lagoon...
Ahhh! Relaxation, a cold beverage and an umbrella!
Iguanas were everywhere, all different sizes and colors.
We scheduled a tour to Tulum, we took a 2 hour bus ride. The bus was air conditioned and very comfortable, even had a banos on board.
We were glad we went, it was gorgeous and we were able to see a little more of the area.
After listening to our tour guide for a while, we ventured out on our own and found the beach.
It was so hot, we just wanted to get out of the sun and get our toes wet.
I LOVE spending time with this guy!

After Tulum our bus took us to lunch at Xpu-Ha, a sister resort to the one we were staying at. After lunch and a down pour of rain, we walked out to the beach then found an umbrella in the shade to hang out until the bus left to take us back to the resort.
The Xpu-Ha resort has lots of activities kayaking, snorkleing, a zoo, etc. The rooms are more in the jungle which would be fun for a few nights!
While we were in Cancun we met up with our friends and had some great conversations, walks on the beach, meals together, and even went to Senior Frogs and didn't get back until 1:45 AM!
The hubby and I had a relaxing massage...
We enjoyed the area and hanging out together!

We've decided our next adventure will be a cruise!

Thanks for stopping by!
