Lunchbox tins and jars...

A couple weekends ago a couple friends came to hang out in my craft cottage!
We had a nice lunch out there, before the serious crafting started!
We covered "lunchbox" tins to hold cards.
We made cute little candy filled jars
to give to a coworker or friend that needs a little hug
or two! Ha! The jars are filled with kisses and hugs!
Sarah filled hers with peanut butter cups =)
Fun simple little projects to use up some of my craft supplies!
We had planned on making some cards too, I think Sarah got one made ;)
It was fun to see how the craft cottage is going to be used! I am still trying to finish organizing ALL my craft junk goodies!
Thanks for stopping in!

Valentine mini book 2010

We don't really do a whole lot for Valentines Day, we just like to keep it simple.

I started out my gift for Scott with the left over pictures from our mini photo shoot, some black and cream paper, and some doodads of hearts, ribbons and embellishments. I knew I wanted something he would be able to take with him on his travels. (He recently started a new job that will require him to travel quite a bit)
I decided to make a mini book, that would fit in a small tin. I started by decorating the tin first.
I created an accordion book with black card stock, then used the black and cream DP to decorate each of the "pages".
I used the computer to create some lined tags to write my thoughts on, and printed it out on cream cardstock.
I used the embellishments, hearts, and ribbon to decorate the pages.
The accordion book fits nicely in the tin, and won't get damaged while traveling. He can then take it out when he gets to his hotel room and keep it on his night stand as a reminder of home. =) I then made a card using a picture that was taken of the two of us at my company holiday party a couple weeks ago. I used a clear sticker, and an adorable crochet heart my friend Jessica made for me! I LOVE them! (Thanks Jessica!)
Above is a closeup of the sticker and heart on the card. Love the closeups my new camera is able to take! =)
Above is a closeup of the little heart lovelies that Jessica crocheted for me! =D
Scott brought me flowers, aren't they pretty? I think the roses are called Fire and Ice?! So pretty!

Altered Tin

Sorry, I did not make it back last night to post.... to much going on! I also did not quite finish my workshop samples, so instead I will show you a tin I altered to hold cards. I still need to add some dividers, but am waiting for my punch from Stampin Up! that I will be ordering tomorrow night.
Have a great day!

Onsie Tin

Good Morning! I wanted to show you how I packaged the onsies for Scott's co-worker.
This is just a tin I thought was too cute to throw away, I don't remember what came in it! LOL!

This is the front of the tin-

This is the back of the tin, I used the same stamp set I used on the onsie. I am very happy with how it all came out. I got the idea for the onsie from a blog I read Taylored Expressions.

Thanks for stopping in today! Have a great day!

Valentine Tins

These are the tins I did for my coworkers for Valentines day. I also entered this picture of them in my LSS Valentine Contest and won! Wow, was I surprised! I got the tins from Papertrey Ink. The paper from my LSS. I filled each tin with the white, pink and red m&ms and a few Dove chocolate hearts.
