I headed out the door this morning
hoping to be one of the first people through the door at the Treasury of Memories Holiday open house at the warehouse. You may remember that my favorite scrap booking store closed last year, but opened for holiday open houses, and Internet orders at a warehouse location. Even better my favorite photographer/vintage wares seller was there with a booth too! Yes Carly Tee Photography was there too. As soon as I spied this cute little dresser, I knew it was coming home with me. I don't remember seeing it at the Ruffles and Rust show.
She also had a GREAT desk, that I wanted to snatch up, and a large table, that I didn't see a price tag on. But lucky for me, I know where to find her if I decide I HAVE to have them! Haha! Anyway, this piece is the perfect color, cute little glass knobs, perfect size for a night stand in the guest bedroom...
or a special room just for a grandbaby! YES! I said it! I am going to be a grandma! WOOHOO! Genna is going to have a baby. We are so excited for her and Justin and for US too!
Okay, back to my trip to the Treasury sale, I walked in the door at 10:03 a.m. (the doors opened at 10:00) and there was already a line. So I grabbed what I could as fast as I could and still had to wait in line to pay for 20 minutes!
I went prepared for Christmas gifts and got quite a few. Also picked up a few things for myself ;) Mini book kits, vinyl sayings, a couple canvas projects, one for the kitchen and one for Christmas.
Now I need to run to Joann for some paint to paint them... I am thinking green for the Christmas one, I think it will go on the fireplace mantle.
I am thinking a mocha color for this one for the kitchen... maybe a couple different colors blended together? Well, off I go to Joann and a couple other stops for Christmas presents and
maybe a baby item or two!

Sorry I've been MIA the last couple weeks! Lots going on! We did take some time to walk on the pier the other night at sunset... isn't it gorgeous?!? =)
I can't decide which I like best and thought I would get YOUR opinion... pink and brown???

Or blue and brown??? I am definitely loving the layout and will use it again! The canvas size is huge 24x24 so the squares are each 8x8, I think I will add little doodads too like buttons, flowers or shells once I have decided on the color.
I have been having fun with the prints I had printed at Costco of Scott and I from our mini photo shoot! I had several prints made into 8x8 (like the one above). Treasury had an open house today so I was able to purchase a couple 24x24 canvases for $15.00 each. I am headed out shortly to see if I can find some paper to use to finish decorating the canvas, I am thinking 8x8 squares of decorative paper... hmm maybe a couple embellishments too? Buttons or seashells or something?
I picked these up this morning at Treasury too, not sure what I am going to do with them yet.

That is becoming this! Just waiting for it to finish drying and I will find a home for it. We are headed to my company Holiday Party this evening! Hope you are having a FUN day!
A couple weeks ago I dragged Scott to a mini photo session that Carly Tee Photography was having at the Treasury of Memories warehouse.
It was fun to just have a few random pictures of the two of us!
I can't wait to get some of these printed up and into the empty frames in the studio! :)
