Stoney Ridge Farm Oct. 2010

Our next stop on Saturday was Stoney Ridge Farm! The day was absolutely gorgeous so clear and crisp. Mt. Baker off in the distance, barns everywhere, fall color and my bestest friend ever, the hubs =)
The line was long to get into the farm this year.
It is such a cute place to go, this is the gift shop. I was on a mission to make our first stop the donut shop, we had to wait in line for about 15 minutes to get a bag of hot little bites of apple cider donuts! I love them, I ate almost the whole bag myself! By the time we came back to the gift shop it had a line too,
I am still trying to purge all the stuff I have, so we didn't go in this year.
Every little nook and cranny of this place is decorated. People were everywhere, so I snapped pictures as fast as I could!
Cute farm art all over too!
Old farm truck, this is where we usually take our picture, but everyone else had the same idea so I just snapped a fast one of just the truck this year.
 Fun scarecrows for photo ops!
We finally went back to the wall with all the enamel pans on it for our picture, then left as fast as we could! There were lines for the pumpkin patch about 30 minutes. Next year we will go on a Thursday or Friday, Saturdays are just too busy!
YUM! The reason I braved the crowds to begin with, Apple Cider Donuts. The bag was full, I had 2 left and realized I hadn't take a picture Oopsies!
Our last stop was the Lynden Craft and Antique Fair. Again I am still purging my home of "stuff" so I didn't buy much. I couldn't resist a jar of mica, a jar of German glass glitter, and a bag of shredded sheet music.
I made a little photo collage of our day! (click on the picture to make it bigger, please!) Back in a bit with my maiden voyage in the new airplane!

Fall fun with the hubby

The first thing we did yesterday morning was go get our pictures taken by Carly Tee Photography for our Mini photo shoot. This time we took Koko and we got to wear Santa hats! All three of us! *giggle* Can't wait to get the CD in the next couple weeks... hoping we can use one for Christmas cards *wink*
We dropped Koko off at home, this is her "why can't I go too" look? Doesn't she look sad. Unfortunately where we were headed doesn't allow doggies.
After lunch our first stop was Bellwood Acres for apples, cider and mulling spices, YUM!
The day was just perfect! Clear blue skies, 60 degrees!
The apples were just HUGE and crisp!
Loved the cute wire forms to turn your pumpkin into a spider. The hubby said he would make me one, so I didn't buy one. They used large washers for the eyes!
Lots of pumpkins and mums for photo ops all around the farm.
One of our favorite places to go in the fall!
The hubby bought a caramel apple.
He said it was delish. I wouldn't know, he didn't even offer me a bite! haha!
We came home with Honeycrisp apples, mulling spices, and cider.
Hope you had a chance to spend some time enjoying fall too! I'll be back tomorrow with the rest of our day!
Hoping to fly with the hubby today, and maybe a picnic lunch at Mt. Baker. Enjoy!

Happy 22nd Birthday Andrea!

While I was out of town my sweet friend Andrea turned 22. We made arrangements to all meet to celebrate her special day =) I whipped up a quick card... it didn't photograph very well.
When I was out shopping at a little boutique with my sister I came across this necklace that reminded me of Andrea. I think my crafty friend Jessica and I will try to make a few of them. It is made using a washer from the hardware store =D
We all met at CreaTiviTea! Such a fun place! Somehow though I didn't have time to complete my entire project... but that's okay, I think it will turn out okay anyway! I am hoping to go back with Jessica for her Birthday and do some fused glass... with some Chai Tea... and LOTS of time to take our time ;)
This is Teal, HI Teal! *waving*
This is Tandy! Hey girl! *waving*
Of course you know one of my besties Jessica! Can't wait to go back with you my friend! *smile*
We ordered Chai Tea *sigh* and French Pressed Coffee.
The Birthday girl! Another one of my besties *grin* Thanks for letting us take you to a crafty place my friend! Hope you always remember us when you use your cupcake plate =)
Had to have a pic of all of us!
A pic of me and the Birthday girl!
After being rush finishing our projects we went to one of Andrea's favorite places to eat. NikkiBella's on the waterfront, we got there just in time to see the sunset.
Yummy fish tacos... they are not the traditional fish tacos, but they are sooo good.
We ordered a deep fried Twinkie for the Birthday girl. I didn't have any, but it looked good!
Happy Birthday sweet face! Love you lots! Koko too =D

Final pictures of my trip in Utah

The final three days I spent in Utah with my sister, we did some shopping! We had grand ideas of doing much more than we did! We had thought about painting her family room, and crafting Halloween or Christmas houses, but we did finish a few things on our list! We went to Gardner Village to see the witches! I LOVED all the fall decorations =)

 A photo op! hehe!

I {heart} the Halloween bunting, all the pumpkins, straw and corn stalks.
Loved the log pumpkins too, hmm wonder if I could get my hubby to cut me some of those.
Fun witch flying on a bike... we got lots of inspiration so we went home and did this to Becky's front porch!
We found the bench, table and orange wooden basket at a place called Home Again! Such an awesome place. It is a used furniture, antique, consignment store. We went to 2 different ones in Salt Lake City. We picked up the pillow and throw on our trip to IKEA, picked up the pumpkin at Michael's and lastly picked up the mum at Smith's. Becky will use her Cricut to cut out vinyl to put on the pumpkin.
So much fun! I think she will have fun decorating the bench and table for the different seasons. I am soo jealous we don't have a Home Again here in Bellingham. Next time I am driving ;)
We also picked up this throw and pillow at IKEA for her piano room.
IKEA also for this pillow (which will go on the bench for winter) and the window covering. We only got one up, her hubby Matt will need to get the others up I love the homey feel it now has.
We made some Betty Boos.
This one is mine! The pattern came from here.
My last day before jumping on the plane to go home we headed up to Snowbird to have lunch with my brother Randy. I will let the pictures speak for themselves... we had lunch then took the tram up to the top of the mountain! BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL =)

Thanks Randy for taking an extra long lunch to spend with your sisters, and taking us up the mountain! Thanks Becky and Matt for a GREAT time!

Now, I guess it is time for me to get some stuff done at home! Thanks for popping in, have a wonderful weekend.
