Fall homespun wreath

I have now made a total of 3 of the banners and will try to make a couple more. Each one is a little different.
The next project I worked on came from here. She used halloween fabric, soo cute! (Be sure to check it out!) I decided to make mine more fall. Just needed a hanger, ribbon and some fabric, about a yard total.
Bend the hanger into a circle.

Cut the fabric into strips. I tore mine they were about 6 inches by 1 1/2 inches. I tied them onto my hanger. I decided to cut some that were 9 inches by 3/4 inch also and tied those in between the others so it didn't look so uniform.

When I was at JoAnn I bought some flower clips that were on sale for 40% off to add to my wreath! I LOVE it! I decided to hang it with the ribbon so it hung a little lower.
See the tan, pink and blue fabric... I will make another one with some shells on it to use for spring or summer!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping in!

Warning, crafting post...

I had forgotten to mention last month that I had received a birthday gift from my friend Teal. She created this picture, isn't it neat?! I LOVE it!
It sits in my favorite room of the house of course :)
I added the green, purple and orange pom poms from the Cinco de Mayo party to my craft room too!
I ordered this YUMMY vintage crinkle ribbon off etsy! Oh my gosh I really really LOVE this stuff! (I can't remember the seller name right now, but will edit later)
I created this little love frame for Teal, Saturday was her Birthday.
I had seen this ribbon technique here I had been dying to try it! So pretty and easy peasy. If you scroll through her blog she has a video showing exactly how easy it is.
The card to go with the frame for Teal. We are taking her to dinner at the Co-op. She has quite a few food allergies and is vegan, the Co-op is the easiest place to eat out! Haha! We love you Teal!
The two together...
More of that YUMMY ribbon. I found this pretty paper to match. Love the little tag with the flower tied with twine. *sigh*
One of my favorite cards I've ever made. I will have a hard time sending this one to anyone, it may get added to my shelves never to be sent out! Hehe!
I also ordered this yummy kit from here well not from there but she has a link to her etsy shop on her blog, which is one of my favorites!
Such cute tags!
I had been thinking of combining the ribbon technique with this ruffle technique that I saw here
I am pretty happy with the results. I will be making more.
Another favorite card. I can't believe the weekend is over, boo! So excited for Thursday when I will see my sweet hubby, 3 kids and Justin (Genna's boyfriend) and bunches of Scott's family! Sad reason to see everyone, Scott's dad's memorial service. It will be nice to see everyone in one spot though ;) he has such a great family!

No new news on Grandma... still in the hospital...

That's it for me... have a great night!

A day of crafting...

After yesterdays sunshine and warm temps, this morning we woke up to grey skies and sprinkles! So glad we saw the daffodils yesterday :) But the grey day made it easier to just craft ALL day!
When I was in Salt Lake City my sister took me to a quilting shop... I LOVE fabric! Anyway, I had seen these and wanted to make a few for myself and for gifts!
What do you think? Can you figure out who some of these may be for??? Hmm, mushrooms??Flowers???
I am going to add some of these Urban flowers on a few of them, and maybe a few buttons too! :)
I also picked a few fabrics to make some of these fabric flowers for cards, and also to put on some clothes pins.
I made 9 of these cards. So easy, found the idea here.
A close up of each style, I used a 12x12 sheet of decorator paper, so I have 3 of each style.
I will be making a few more of these with a couple other sheets of DP that I found.
This one is my favorite!
I got to use my new punch to make these cards, I made 3 of each style of these.
Sponged the edges like I saw my sister do when I was visiting. We got to spend a couple hours in her craft studio using her Bind-it-All. I have decided I need one! Haha!

I am not sure I have enough buttons! What do you think??? Hehe, I just got a new order of them, I bought the little antique sherbet dishes when we were in LaConnor yesterday. What was I thinking to only buy 3??? I see another trip soon!
I guess thats what happens when I try not to buy anything for myself! I think they had a set of 12.
This is where Koko spent the day...
I had to put the blanket there, otherwise she wanted to lay in my lap!
But the blanket was in front of this... which made her a happy puppy! :)

The hubby has been gone 2 weeks tomorrow :( I think the longest we have ever been apart. I am hoping to see his sweet face around March 16-18??? Otherwise I will head down to Miami to see him, Boston is too cold! Love and miss you honey :)

Hope you had an enjoyable weekend too!

gingerbread house that sits on the edge of a mug
not martha

I have been in LOVE with so many things I have found in Blogland lately! How CUTE are those little gingerbread houses sitting on the edge of hot chocolate or wassail! I wish I had a reason to make some up, oh, and the time too ;)

little birdie secrets

These little kitchen towels are adorable, I actually went to JoAnns to try to find some fabric to make some of these and a few other things, but the line was so long I decided to put them on my list for next year!

little birdie secrets

I did make a few of these, and am having a group of my coworkers over so they can make one for themselves, but I am in LOVE with the ribbon detail of this one.

I absolutely ADORE these ornaments! Can't wait to get a Cricut and make my own! Things to get: old sheet music from Goodwill, Glitter- check, buttons- check!

Love these burlap pillows too! Burlap is so big right now, I've seen stockings, ornaments, and table runners all from burlap.
