12 inches and it is still snowing!

We have got twelve inches of snow on the ground and it is still snowing! It started snowing last week, in fact we had adjusted hours at work all last week, and we have adjusted hours for Monday morning.

This is Koko wearing her new little jacket.....

this is the table on the back patio..... 12 inches!

It was a perfect weekend to craft, and finish ALL the Christmas cards, and wrapping! Its ALL done, and I have all the makings for Christmas dinner! The grocery store was jam packed last night when we went, knowing the storm was headed our way didn't help!
I will post pictures of the little tree boxes I made for Scott's co-workers tomorrow night. I have heard rumor that Santa my be bringing me faster internet service! Woohoo! Dial up is so slow!

Have a wonderful evening!

I have been working on some Christmas presents lately. This is a cute countdown to Christmas clipboard I picked up at Treasury of Memories, my LLS. I think it turned out pretty cute!

Have a great evening!

Fragrance Lake

Saturday we decided to take Koko for a hike to Fragrance Lake. It was a beautiful fall day. Perfect for hiking 4 + miles, 2 being mostly uphill!

This is the view at the viewpoint at 1 mile, it overlooks the the bay and the islands.

This is Fragrance Lake, my gorgeous hubby and Koko. We have been trying to teach Koko to drink out of rivers and lakes, she still does not get it, she thinks it needs to be the water bottle. But she has no problem drinking out of the pond in the back yard!

I am working on Halloween goodies for Scotts co-workers, I will post them when I am done! I am helping to decorate for the Yacht Club Halloween Party again this year, should be fun... I am thinking of being Dorothy and my hubby the scarecrow and of course Koko will be Toto.

Have a great day!

Mt Baker, Picture Lake

I wanted to share more pictures of our visit to Mt Baker and Picture Lake
We went on a beautiful clear day! It is so gorgeous!

Have a great day!

I'm back!

It has been over 3 months since I last blogged.... since that time we have gotten a puppy, Koko. This is her at 7 weeks. The tennis ball in front of her is mini one, not normal sized.

She is a Maltese, Poodle and Yorkshire Terrier mix and is so cute!

This is the three of us at Mt Baker a couple months ago. I have switched jobs also, which is consuming alot more of my time! I hope to blog a little more often... we'll see. Anyway, thanks for stopping in and have a great day!

An awful funny looking squirrel! hehe!

I haven't had any time to be crafty lately, hopefully this weekend though! *grin* I do want to share a picture of what I came home to yesterday. Our neighborhood deer decided he liked the squirrel food. He ate every last bit of it! He usually hangs around the neighborhood and eats the weeds and trees and *daydreams* about getting in the gates to eat the flowers, but today I guess he decided if squirrel food was good enough for the squirrels and the birds to argue over, it was good enough for him too!
Have a great day!

Flying over the San Juan Islands

I did not get to post yesterday, I had to get my mom to the shuttle stop early to catch the shuttle from Bellingham to Vancouver. Here are the pictures of our trip over the islands Monday night. It was the perfect time to go! We did not have a single bump.

We flew just up to the Canadian border, Victoria was just off to the right of us, we looked for whales but did not see any. The picutre above is Mt. Baker in the background.

Our personal tour guide and pilot! What a cutie!

We finished the night with Gelato in Fairhaven and watched the sunset from out front on a bench.

Have a great day!

Tennant Lake Hovander Park

Yesterday Scott, my mom and I visited Tennant Lake and Hovander Park in Ferndale. It was beautiful and warm :) Their is a Fragrance Garden there and a natural wildlife habitat. We did not make it to the farm.... I am hoping if my sis makes it in a couple weeks we will head to the farm. The pic is of the viewing tower.

This is a picture of the Fragrance Garden from the top of the viewing tower.

After dinner we walked on the pier and watched the sun set. It was a great day! Tonight we plan on having Scott fly us over the islands, it is a beautiful sun filled day today! YAY!

Have a great day!
